Great Things To Do With Children During School Break

1. Take day trips. If your children are of the age where they are able to make choices, ask them where they would like to go. That way, you can do some of what you think is best and the children also have some choice.

2. Spend some time at the seaside.

3. Have fun at theme parks.

4. Playtime in the park.

5. Go swimming.

6. Have friends round. Your's and the children's.

7. Stay at home and get your children to create stories and act them out.

8. Have fun in the gardening, with the gardening, lazing around, playtime with water and whatever you choose.

9. Visit a museum.

10. Visit the cinema.

11. Use the computer.

12. Play computer games.

13. Play sports activities/games.

14. Homework or study.

15. Reading.

16. Watch TV/Videos together

17. Listen to DVDs together.

18. Create an activity project, such as painting, treasure hunt.

19. Attend summer school.

20. Go to a play centre.

21. Go to summer camp.

22. Bake something.

23. Make papier-mâché.

24. Put on a puppet show.

25. Go to the Zoo/nature park.

26. Go to magic show.

27. Invite parents of friends who are able to create magic shows around.

28. Go to children's theatre.

29. Feed birds.

30. Look at wildlife.

31. Go to the farm.

32. Go to the library.

33. Explore the outside world.

34. Mini cruise.

35. Have a tickle party.

36. Wrestle and roll around with your kids.

37. Let the kids take every cushion off the sofa and build a fort. Test it out yourself.

38. Share a skill with your kids; spend some time passing your knowledge on.

39. Take a class together.

40. Go ice or roller-skating.

41. Take it in turns to make up stories

42. Have a dance party in the living room.

43. Cook dinner together
